Several years ago it dawned on me that I will never own all of the fly rods and reels in the world...at the same time. Given that revelation, I decided to impose some limit on how much gear I might reasonably possess at a given moment, and I came to terms with the idea that "old tackle" must leave the house when new tackle arrives. The sale of a specific rod or reel is based on either lack of use or on a whim to buy some new, better toy. In either case, I can promise you that the rods and reels listed on this page are accurately described and carefully photographed. I have never had a rod or reel returned to me because it did not measure up to its listing. So, if you see something you like, ask any questions you have and feel confident that there will be no surprises.
